  I noticed a dragonfly resting on a leaf. As the light shifted, its wings reflected deep greens, turquoise blues, warm amber, and small flashes of red. The symmetry of its wings and the way the colours layered so naturally stayed with me.

  Later, instead of painting the dragonfly itself, I translated that moment into this mandala—repeating wing-like forms, balanced layers, and a colour palette inspired by that brief pause in nature.
